Karina and Jason’s Melbourne winter wedding was simply stunning. The looming morning clouds cleared to make way for the sunshine for their first look at South Wharf, the very spot where Jason proposed to Karina years ago. Their elegant and timeless wedding at the Melbourne Town Hall and reception to follow at Church 364 was a seamless combination of family heritage and new beginnings. Karina’s bridal ‘bouquet’ crafted with jewellery from past generations was particularly beautiful and their attention to every detail was noticed by all. Everything about this wedding was classic.
Karina and Jason were married in the Council Chambers of the Melbourne Town Hall, underneath the original leadlight windows featuring the City of Melbourne’s coat of arms. In Latin it reads, Vires Acquirit Eundo – ‘We gather strength as we go.’
To Karina and Jason, I wish you all the happiness in your new adventure forward.
Love, Sarah xo
